Overview Account Executive - CoStar Data & Analytics, New Jersey. CoStar Group is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces.

Role Overview As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling new business while managing and growing your client portfolio through the value of CoStar products. This is a consultative role that builds relationships, engages new clients, and oversees the entire sales process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Sell New Business: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by promoting the value of our product to the commercial real estate industry and beyond.

Account Management: Effectively manage and expand your portfolio of clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and growth with tailored solutions.

End-to-End Sales Process: Leverage expertise through the full sales cycle, including prospecting, product demonstrations, closing, onboarding, training, and renewing clients.

Building Relationships: Conduct in-person meetings and deliver product demos to brokers, owners, corporations, investors, and other commercial real estate professionals.

Brand Ambassador: Represent CoStar at industry events and cultivate long-term relationships and a professional network.

#1 Commercial Real Estate Brand: Develop expertise in CoStar’s products and the commercial real estate market.

Qualifications

Experience in selling CoStar.

5+ years of successful outside sales experience in a B2B environment selling data, research, and analytic platforms or tools, commercial real estate, financial services, business intelligence, marketing, information providers, or related experience preferred. Client-facing experience in the commercial real estate industry strongly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited not-for-profit university or college.

A track record of commitment to prior employers and of exceeding sales targets.

Experience in client management and post-sale; valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record check prior to start.

Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to build rapport and trust; keen interest in the commercial real estate market and willingness to develop expertise in CoStar’s product suite.

Demonstrated success in managing client portfolios and driving revenue growth; excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Results-driven mindset with focus on customer satisfaction and market knowledge.

Pay and Sponsorship This position offers a base salary range of $80,000 - $100,000, with an uncapped commission plan and generous benefits. We welcome all qualified candidates eligible to work full-time in the United States to apply; visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.
