SHL is building a brand-new Mid-Market New Business Acquisition Team, in the Americas, and we’re looking for entrepreneurial sellers who can drive results in a high-energy, SaaS sales environment. You’ll be responsible for generating new business in the mid-market space - building pipeline from scratch, running efficient sales cycles, and closing deals. The right candidate thrives on achieving KPI’s, is comfortable with ambiguity, and has experience selling SaaS solutions into mid-market sized organizations. Prospect & Build Pipeline:
Drive outbound activity (calls, emails, LinkedIn, creative tactics) to generate new opportunities. Discovery & Qualification:
Lead calls to uncover challenges, align needs, and qualify prospects for SHL solutions. Sales Execution:
Own the full sales cycle—from initial outreach to closed deals—meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly targets. Playbook Creation:
Help design and refine outbound strategies, messaging, and best practices as we establish our mid-market GTM motion. Collaboration:
Partner with Sales Leaders, Marketing, and Product Experts to deliver value-driven solutions. Learning & Growth:
Stay sharp on our products, SaaS sales trends, and industry insights; actively engage in coaching to raise performance. Qualifications
2–5 years of sales, business development, or new business acquisition experience, ideally in SaaS or high-growth tech environments. Proven success selling into mid-market companies (1,000–10,000 employees preferred). High energy, resilience, and drive to thrive in fast-paced, goal-oriented environments. Comfortable with cold outreach, objection handling, and building pipeline from scratch. Strong communication and relationship-building skills; able to quickly build trust with prospects. Organized and efficient, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once. Entrepreneurial mindset—you’re comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by building something new.
