Overview
Part of the global statutory team responsible for “best in class” service and providing ad hoc project support, as required. The team works closely with other finance teams, providing support when required and collaborating across functions to meet overall goals Responsibilities
Reviewing Management and Statutory financial statements, coordination audit requests by working closely with Functional team, Business, Tax, Legal and Operations. Preparing the financial statements and audit pack to auditors in compliance to the local statutory requirements. Performing analytical reviews, analysis for US GAAP to statutory walk, assessing the quality of data and working with the team to solve issues. Extracting insight from data and explain, giving root cause analysis and recommendation to relevant stakeholders. Managing government reporting deliverables to local authority Assisting in ad-hoc projects relating to audit & accounting Performing under minimal supervision, evaluate, maintain and improve efficiency of financial processes. Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies): Years of experience: 2-4 years Field of experience: Audit/ Finance / Accounting Technical Skills: Financial analysis & reporting, Accounting Standards knowledge (IFRS / GAAP) Soft Skills: Critical thinking, Problem Solving and adaptability Tools or Software (Required): SAP or Oracle, Excel, HFM Education Qualifications: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA. Industry Background or Experience (Required): Big 4 accounting experience is an added advantage and Finance, Shared services Target Companies: Audit / professional firms (e.g. PWC, EY, Deloitte, KPMG) Off-limits Companies: KPMG Required Accreditations / Qualifications / Certification / Licenses including driving License: N/A Desirable attributes of the worker
Have good interpersonal and communication skills. Have good attention to detail with good analytical skills. Able to use Data Visualization Tools – Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for presenting financial data. Other Requirements
