Financial Controller
with experience in real estate and/or construction to lead financial operations across national projects. Reporting to senior accounting leadership, this role partners closely with project, procurement, and executive teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead construction accounting: project cost tracking, work in progress, billing, and revenue recognition Manage job-level reporting, subcontractor payments, and customer invoicing Oversee and mentor a team of project accountants Ensure alignment between budgets, contracts, and actuals Improve systems and processes using Procore, NetSuite, and Excel Qualifications:
CPA required 7+ years in construction finance or real estate accounting Proven leadership in fast-paced environments Procore experience required; NetSuite or similar ERP preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP, job costing, WIP, and billing cycles Public + private accounting background a plus Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Why Join:

Location:
Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Compensation:
$180K–$220K base + bonus
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
