This position will be responsible for analyzing contractors’ Integrated Master Schedules, and building and maintaining government program schedules. The position requires 1-7 years of experience in combined industry and government acquisition experience. Experience working space and defense programs desired. Bachelor’s degree in the following: Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics. Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for analyzing contractors’ Integrated Master Schedules, and building and maintaining government program schedules. Duties will include performing schedule risk assessments, analysis of actual versus baseline and estimated duration, evaluation of schedule progress against the plan, evaluation of the contractor’s written reports, and critical path analysis. Additional duties include establishing project schedule configuration management policies, establishing a schedule strategy, and schedule planning and development. Work may also include schedule estimating, substantiation of confidence level generation, development of Schedule Risk Assessment analysis schedules, schedule/prediction analysis, performance measurement (earned value), DCMA 14-Point Assessments, and project forecasting. This position requires daily interface with government personnel and prime contractors. Air Force Research Laboratory Space Vehicles Directorate (AFRL/RV) and Directed Energy Directorates (AFRL/RD). Skills Required

Applicant should be proficient in the use of MS Office applications, i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project. Excellent verbal communication, written, and quantitative analytical skills are required. Familiarity with other schedule analysis tools, e.g., Primavera, PertMaster, Steelray, Milestone Pro, OnePager highly desired. Applicants must have the ability to gather and analyze technical, programmatic, and schedule data to perform various types of scheduling duties. Problem solving and analytical thinking is an absolute must. It is desirable that applicants understand developing and/or performing schedule analyses, and developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS). It is also desirable that applicants have a working knowledge of the DoD Science & Technology (S&T), acquisition and project management processes. Working knowledge of earned value management, cost estimating, and the DoD Budget cycle is preferred. Applicant must be able to work in a team environment. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance required. Education
