Rödl & Partner is seeking a full-time German Associate (Audit & Tax) to join our international public accounting firm in our US offices. Our headquarters is located in
Atlanta, GA . We also have openings in
Birmingham, AL .
You will work with a select team providing auditing and tax compliance services to primarily German manufacturing and distribution clients. The ideal candidate will be able to manage projects, multi-task, and communicate effectively in both German and English, both verbally and in writing. To succeed in this role, associates must be organized, proactive, and results-driven.

What you will do:
Perform audit engagements across various industries, focusing on manufacturing and distribution. Develop and execute audit programs, documenting objectives, risks, controls, and test procedures. Assist with the completion of tax returns and related client communications. Prepare federal and state corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns. Conduct technical accounting research on various topics. Provide high-quality services and deliverables that exceed client expectations. Maintain active communication to manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction. Prepare clear, concise workpapers and communications. Manage priorities and provide timely status updates to team leaders. What you need to bring:
Proficient German writing and communication skills. BA/BS in Accounting or a Master's in Accounting/Taxation. Excellent research, writing, and communication skills in English. Process-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Preferred Qualifications:
CPA license or similar certification (preferred or in progress). Experience in public accounting (internship or entry-level). Experience with ProSystem fx Engagement. Experience with CCH Axcess. Benefits:
