We are looking for a Squad Tech Lead to guide one of our cross-functional squads in delivering high-quality data engineering and analytics solutions. This role sits at the intersection of technical leadership, delivery ownership, and hands-on engineering, ensuring our squads build scalable data pipelines, reliable analytics foundations, and actionable insights for our clients.

About the Role
We are looking for a
Squad Lead
to guide one of our cross-functional squads in delivering high-quality data engineering and analytics solutions. This role sits at the intersection of
technical leadership, delivery ownership, and hands-on engineering , ensuring our squads build scalable data pipelines, reliable analytics foundations, and actionable insights for our clients. You will be both a
builder and a leader : designing solutions, mentoring engineers and analysts, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered with technical excellence and business impact. Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Own the technical vision and architecture for the squad’s projects in data engineering and analytics. Define data and analytics standards and best practices to ensure data quality and reliability. Guide the team in selecting tools and frameworks (e.g., Amplitude, GA4, BigQuery, dbt, Rudderstack, Airflow).
Squad Management & Delivery
Act as the main technical point of contact within the squad. Coordinate with the Squad Leader and PMs to align technical execution with business priorities. Ensure deliverables are on time, scalable, and meet quality standards.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and integrations. Contribute to analytics implementations (e.g., tracking plans, event modeling, attribution). Support experimentation frameworks and data-driven decision-making processes. Coach junior and mid-level engineers and analysts within the squad. Foster a culture of knowledge-sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement. Help grow the squad’s technical capability by identifying skill gaps and proposing upskilling initiatives. What We’re Looking For
Experience : 5+ years in data engineering, analytics, or a related field. Technical Skills
Strong SQL and data modeling expertise. Proficiency in Python and/or dbt for data workflows. Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift). Familiarity with event-based tracking systems (GA4, Amplitude, Rudderstack, Segment). Understanding of experimentation and A/B testing frameworks is a plus.
Leadership : Previous experience leading projects, mentoring engineers, or owning delivery within a squad/team. Mindset : Problem-solving, collaborative, and comfortable balancing technical depth with delivery speed. Success in This Role Means
