Our client is a chemical company located in the greater Cleveland / Akron OH area and they are looking for an R&D Engineer.
R&D Engineer/Applications Engineer/Process Development Engineer/Research and Development Engineer
In this role, you'll drive applied research projects. This person will collaborate closely and work cross-functionally with Operations, Sales and Marketing, R&D and interfacing with customer clients.
Utilize fundamental expertise in rheology, powders, or polymers to help improve product performance.
Support application development efforts through effective lab test development, product characterization, and experimentation.
Drive product improvements by fostering strong cross-functional relationships.
Help facilitate customer engagement through customer site visits.
Job Requirements
Must have a MS degree - preference for Chemical Engineer but would consider Mechanical, Materials or Polymer Engineer as well. Willing to consider candidates with 1-5 years of experience as well as fresh grads with good co-op experience. Will not consider candidates requiring sponsorship.
