Southwest Care Center is currently seeking an experienced full-time Patient Access Specialist. This position supports our Harkle Clinic in Santa Fe, NM.provide direct and indirect customer support to the clinical team. They will be responsible for pre-registration, financial determination, appointment scheduling, and coordinating of all front office and registration functions as part of one or more clinical teams. This role serves as liaison between clinical teams along with other staff, other agencies, and patients.Maintains proficiency in the use of the electronic scheduling software, electronic health record, and scanning.Other duties as assigned. Minimum 1 year of experience working front desk in a healthcare environment preferred, Athena EMR experience highly desired.Education: High school Diploma or general education degree (GED).
