Description:

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer. In this role, you will be performing RF engineering functions in support of system design, development, integration, production, and sustainment. Experienced professionals looking for an opportunity to work at Lockheed Martin Skunk Works on the most advanced aeronautics programs in the world will be part of a dynamic team working cutting edge technologies and capabilities utilizing Model-Based System Engineering practices through digital technology. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. A level 4 employee typically has 9 years or more of professional experience, or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.

Responsibilities Responsibilities include performing RF engineering functions in support of system design, development, integration, production, and sustainment for advanced aeronautics programs.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree

in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related engineering degree.

Experience in systems engineering lifecycle, development, requirements decomposition, and application of processes and tools

Experience with Radar and Electronic Warfare principles, and sensor operations

Knowledge of Low Observables (LO) applications

Strong oral and written communication skills

Experience working in cross functional or small technical teams

Must possess an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (minimum)

Desired Skills

Experience with sensor hardware design, physical interfaces, and sensor integration onto airborne platforms

Experience with Supplier management

Familiarity with agile methodology and processes

Familiarity with use of Confluence and JIRA

CAMEO, CATIA V5 or V6 experience

Understanding of LM system engineering processes

Knowledge of Military and/or Government programs

Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Salary information is a general guideline; factors such as scope and responsibilities, experience, education/training, key skills, market and business considerations are considered when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate (cont.):

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,300 - $170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Salary information is a general guideline; factors such as scope and responsibilities, experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
