Job Description The client requires a Salesforce Solutions developer to assist with application support and enhancement of the Services for the client. This role will bridge strategic business needs with robust and secure solution architecture, collaborating with stakeholders and developers to deliver cutting edge and sustainable enterprise solutions. This role will also be a hands-on technical expert with the ability to support customized Salesforce solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with Subject Matter Experts, Tech leads and business stakeholders to transform business scope into accurate and cost-effective technical architecture, ensure every solution aligns with data security and performance standards, identify and mitigate technical risks across the architecture, describe best practices and justification for when to use standard Salesforce functionality when solutioning complex requirements and when customizations are a better fit, create high-quality technical documentation, data modelling and solution diagrams, lead code reviews, design sessions/workshops and release planning sessions, collaborate with Agile team in backlog refinement, user story decomposition and acceptance criteria refinement, assist in Salesforce environment setup and CI/CD pipeline process using appropriate release management tool. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project integration and delivery.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies
Experience administrating in managing (Products) Copado deployments on the Salesforce platform - with best practice and governance and change control
Knowledge and experience for best practice oversight and coaching Salesforce project teams on Copado and Release Management processes
Experience and knowledge working with a CoE/best practice oversight team and coaching Salesforce project teams in coordination with Salesforce platform owner
Experience building and modifying complex applications on a Salesforce lightning platform
Strong understanding and experience with all configuration aspects of Salesforce including for development
Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and process
Experience working for Federal, or State government is preferred and best practice oversight collaboration
Skills
Experience with GITHUB and Copado and Jira as a base service and change control management – Required
Salesforce Admin I and II Certification – Required
Salesforce Platform Developer I and II and/or Platform App Builder Certification – Required
Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant Certification – Required
Copado I and II Certification – Required
CRT Certification – Required
Experience with Shield and Lightning (LWC) – Required
Experience with Salesforce Flows – Required
Experience using Salesforce Platform Community, Service Cloud, and Gov Cloud – Required
Experience with Salesforce requirements, analysis, and developing and maintaining technical diagrams – Required
Experience with Own backup - installations and maintenance – Required
Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) – Required
Familiarity with agile methodology, tools, and frameworks, i.e., Scrum, Kanban – Required
