Job Description
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for our global client in Richmond or Mclean, VA. As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will: Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios across multiple lines of business Work within and across agile teams to scope out, design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full stack of development tools and technologies Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions Continually improve software engineering practices Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment and learn new technologies, participate in internal and external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting edge technologies, inclusion, outside of the box thinking, team work, self-organization, and diversity Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or military experience At least 3 years of full stack development experience in Java At least 3 years of user experience testing At least 3 years of experience in CI/CD deployment At least 3 years of experience in configuration management At least 1 year of experience with cloud services Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science 3+ years of experience in Agile 1+ years of experience with Service Oriented Architectures 1+ years of experience with RDBMS and MapReduce Implementation of authentication and authorization solutions Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, Slack, and other collaboration and tracking tools Familiarity with code versioning in GitHub We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
