Position: Financial Administrator
Status: Non-exempt, hourly
Hours: 24 hours per week (three 8-hour days or four 6-hour days, Monday–Thursday)

About the Role
We are seeking a Financial Administrator to oversee the financial operations of our church and preschool. This position ensures that all financial data is accurate, complete, and properly managed. The Financial Administrator works closely with the Lead Pastor, Director Of Child’s World Preschool, and Finance Committee, providing essential reports, payroll support, and compliance with denominational and governmental requirements. Responsibilities
Finance Duties Perform daily bookkeeping and accounting: pay bills, code accounts, obtain signatures for checks, monitor credit card bills, and maintain records. Manage all bank accounts, including reconciliations, fund transfers, banking supplies, and accounts receivable. Record preschool revenue (tuition, contributions, grants, events). Monitor and reconcile restricted accounts (reserves, capital, endowment). Attend Finance Committee meetings; prepare budgets, financial statements, and analysis as requested. Ensure compliance with financial procedures and internal controls that meet audit standards. Provide financial analysis and budget details for church committees as needed. Complete denominational statistical tables. Maintain an accounting system and close processes properly. Payroll Duties Coordinate with payroll provider to ensure accurate payroll and journal entries. Verify that all payroll requirements are met with federal and state governments. Other Perform additional duties as requested or required. Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Bookkeeping/accounting experience required (church or non-profit experience preferred). Proficiency in Excel and accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management and organizational skills. High level of integrity and absolute commitment to confidentiality. Schedule & Benefits

Sick Time: Accrued at 1 hour per 30 hours worked, capped at 48 hours annually. Insurance/Retirement: Not available for this position.
