Overview
NorthHill Technology Resources has an exciting opportunity for a
Platform Engineer
to support a Federal Program in
Chantilly, VA . This is a direct-hire role with our client, a highly respected firm in the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of relevant experience. Due to the nature of the work, a
TS/SCI Clearance and CI Polygraph
is required. Responsibilities
Work with Kubernetes or derivatives. OpenShift Platform Plus experience is a plus; OpenShift familiarity is helpful. DevOps background including Ansible or other automation language, Git, and Python. Some development background/experience. Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). Strong understanding of networking. Note: We aren’t looking for a network engineer, but the platform engineer may be asked to review network topology (e.g., OVN-Kubernetes) and understand network flow with study and access to a live system. Experience building out datacenter architectures (understanding out-of-band management networks, management interfaces, patch cycles, etc.). Ability to independently self-educate. The project spans a wide range of technologies; candidates are expected to identify knowledge gaps, self-educate, and return with answers. Current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph. Preferred Experience
Background/f familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI); experience with OpenShift AI is ideal. Familiarity/experience with Dell PowerScale. Experience with Keycloak. Experience with Active Directory. Experience with container registries; hands-on with Quay is preferred. Experience building PKI infrastructure. Experience with software-defined networking. Experience implementing NIST/STIGs. Experience with MinIO. Experience with Ceph (or other software-defined storage).
