RESIDENT ENGINEER - WATER/WASTEWATER - MUNICIPAL - URGENT NEED! Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Water & Wastewater Resident Engineer to oversee municipal construction projects, ensure compliance with design specifications, and coordinate effectively with contractors and Owner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and water/wastewater systems. Responsibilities: Overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications, managing field notes and reports, and resolving construction issues while maintaining adherence to schedules and safety standards. Supervise and review construction activities related to construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Contract Compliance: Verify and document overall contract compliance, interpret project drawings and specifications, and provide recommendations to the client. Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports related to the project, including field notes, progress reports, and meeting minutes. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management. Professional Engineer license (NY) Preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects Experience in public water/wastewater construction projects. Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations. Excellent communication and team management skills.
