The successful candidate will join a well-established department focused in implementing the approved curriculum based on the mission and Philosophy of the Department of Nursing. Nursing faculty are professionals with the education and skills to prepare the next generation of nurses. They provide opportunities for students to acquire knowledge and practice skills identified in course objectives within classroom, laboratory and clinical settings; using appropriate and innovative teaching methods across a variety of modalities - including online and face to face teaching. All nursing faculty at St Ambrose University participate in the program\'s evaluation and continuous improvement processes. Responsibilities
Participate in teaching across classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings using appropriate and innovative teaching methods across modalities (including online and face-to-face). Contribute to the program\'s evaluation and continuous improvement processes. Qualifications
Doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, EdD, DNP). Eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in Iowa; licensure in additional states may be required. Faculty rank commensurate with credentials and experience. Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and scholarship with experience in academia. Benefits
