Establish and maintain spacecraft hardware configuration and interfaces across the vehicle Lead and perform technical analysis of complex system problems and develop solutions to those problems Lead mechanical integration, test planning, and test execution Find and drive opportunities for build flow and test efficiencies Ensure the end-to-end compatibility of mechanical interfaces throughout the spacecraft, to include establishing and maintaining pointing and alignment budgets Develop and maintain the mechanical configuration model and internal missile mechanical Interface Control Documents (ICDs) Lead studies and system trades for enhanced capabilities Participate in and coordinate design reviews and technical product reviews Lead and participate in failure investigations and anomaly resolution boards Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education Knowledge and application of Systems Integration functions, including one or more of the following: a.) System trade studies and/or System modeling b.) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development c.) System Integration, Test and/or Verification d.) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies

Experience with hardware development at the component, subsystem, or system level System design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Propulsion, RF, Software, etc.) Eligible for or Active or Current Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI - T5 investigation required Desired Skills

Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers Geometric Tolerancing and Dimensioning (GD&T) expertise Mechanical Design experience including experience releasing drawings and CAD Proficiency (I-DEAS, Creo, etc.) Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware products throughout the full life cycle of the program Experience defining and documenting system mechanical interfaces Experience authoring and verifying requirements Ability to interact with hardware CPEs and designers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied Proven track record of good judgment and programmatic execution necessary to meet technical requirements while balancing schedules and budget obligations Ability to drive coordinated resolution to issues across multiple work locations and organizational structure Recognized as an authority in systems thinking techniques with the proven ability to apply them to a wide range of complex problems and train others in their application Experience as Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE), Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) or Delegate Engineering Material Review (EMRB) certified Prior experience with Firm Fixed Priced Contracts Prior experience with Class C programs Experience with MBSE in DOORS and Cameo Active or Current TS/SCI with T5 investigation Security Clearance and Other Info

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position:

9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate\'s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered:

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
