Overview
Wilkes University invites applicants for a Senior Budget Analyst position in the Finance Office. Under the direction of the Associate Vice President for Finance, this position supports the preparation of the annual University budget and performs monthly account analysis. This position is an active member of the Finance team. The successful candidate is responsible for providing support to faculty, staff and administration on financial matters; assisting in the development, administration, and monitoring of the University's operating budget; assisting in the preparation of financial projections; and the reconciliation of revenue and expense accounts. Qualifications
A BS in Accounting, Business or Finance and a minimum of five years\' experience is required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with fund accounting, preferably in higher education. The individual must demonstrate excellent communication, organization, customer service, computer skills, and fluency in Microsoft Excel. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
