Job Description: As part of DXC Technology’s continued SAP practice growth, we are seeking an experienced SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant to join our expanding team. In this role, you will work directly with clients to design, configure, and deliver SAP S/4HANA solutions across Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules. You’ll contribute across the full project lifecycle – from presales and solution design, through configuration and testing, to cutover and post-go-live support. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of high-impact S/4HANA programmes across multiple industries, shaping digital supply chain and order-to-cash processes for DXC’s clients. Due to the nature of our client accounts, SC security clearance is required. To be eligible and for us to obtain this for you, you must be a British National that has lived and worked in the UK consecutively for the past 5 years. Unfortunately, we cannot consider dual nationals currently. What you will be doing Gathers and analyses user business requirements and processes. Understands client requirements, needs, and functionality of the ECC and S/4 product module. Defines and documents business requirements and validates solutions with the client.
Data Migration expertise - Provide business cleansing support and data profiling by creating and maintaining appropriate reports
Works with business users to configure the module to translate business requirements into functional design specifications. Defines initial settings, module-relevant security settings and reporting options.
Understands processes and reporting requirements and user interfaces impacted by the ECC/S/4 system. Identifies modifications and recommends and applies changes as appropriate.
Provides ongoing SAP functional system support. Communicates and interacts with technical team and client to resolve functional issues to meet client requirements.
Typical output for the position though not exhaustive would be Requirements Traceability Matrix, Business Process Blueprint, Configuration Documentation, Functionality Specification, Test Scripts, Training Guides.
Experience of S/4 end to end projects related to own functional area essential coupled with leading data migration engagements.
Basic Qualifications Proven experience of ERP business solutions, business analysis or management analysis experience. Full lifecycle S/4 project experience with data migration.
Experience assisting users with business process changes and improvement initiatives
Additional Details Though this position will have a remote focus some minor aspect of UK based travel may be required from time to time in delivery of the project services (Client workshops, meetings, etc). Candidates would need to be able to attend these onsite requirements. Typical locations would include (but not limited to) Stevenage and Bolton. Why DXC and what we offer?
