Course: Written and Verbal Communication for Software Development This course focuses on gathering User Stories and decomposing them into a requirements document, design specifications, and technically managing activities associated with software development. Topics cover the managerial aspect of the software development life cycle, delivery, and integration. Hands-on activities focus on communication using professional Agile-based project management software to implement a system for planning, tracking, and auditing the use of resources within the context of a software project. This is a writing intensive course.

Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions

Engage students in learning course objectives and topics

Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom

Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring

Preferred:

Master’s in Physical Science, Engineering or MBA possessing 12 graduate credits in Information Technology, Computer Programming, Software Development, or Software Engineering and three or more years of Project Management experience

Minimum:

Bachelor’s in any field with 10+ years of instructional experience in project management
