Level 2 Onboarding Specialist (Hybrid – Columbus, OH)
We’re looking for a
Level 2 Onboarding Specialist
to ensure smooth client transitions into our managed IT and security services. This is a
hybrid role
based in Columbus, OH—part remote, part onsite at client locations. You’ll be hands-on with deployments, documentation, troubleshooting, and client-facing onboarding sessions.
What You’ll Do
Lead client onboarding projects and ensure a seamless experience.
Configure and deploy Microsoft 365, Intune, Autopilot, and related systems.
Work with RMM tools ( Kaseya VSA / Datto RMM
strongly preferred).
Deploy and manage
EDR solutions
(Datto EDR or similar).
Train end users onsite and provide remote support as needed.
Document and record key parts of client infrastructure and layout for future reference.
Collaborate with a small, high-performing team to deliver results.
Required Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in IT support or MSP environments (focus on onboarding, deployments, or migrations).
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Azure AD / Intune device management.
Experience with Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) platforms, preference for Kaseya VSA or Datto RMM.
Familiarity with Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) platforms (Datto EDR or similar).
Basic networking (firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi access points).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to solve problems independently and within a small team.
Based in Columbus, OH with ability to work in a hybrid capacity.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior MSP experience, especially with client onboarding or project implementations.
Exposure to ticketing/documentation systems (Autotask, ConnectWise, or HaloPSA).
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or similar.
Experience supporting hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem).
