This role provides direct support and consulting to payroll clients. It requires in-depth payroll knowledge, awareness of payroll laws, and the ability to manage client relationships independently, escalating issues as needed. Ensure payroll data accuracy and resolve discrepancies Process payrolls timely, including updating records, calculating bonuses, and reconciling taxes and deposits Prepare reports on earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions Client Service & Support Build trusted client relationships through effective consultation Maintain confidentiality of employee data Communicate clearly in writing and verbally Provide technical support for payroll software Identify out-of-scope work and new service opportunities Implementation & Technology Support the implementation team as needed Understand client payroll needs through interviews Manage new client onboarding projects Train clients on payroll processes Individual & Team Development Assist in training new and less experienced staff Share insights and lessons learned Stay current with local, state, and federal payroll laws Qualifications 1-3 years payroll experience; degree preferred or equivalent experience Experience with ADP software is a plus Proficiency in Outlook and MS Office Attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills Ability to learn quickly and work under deadlines Additional Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Human Resources Industry: Accounting
