Overview The HRIS Specialist II is an advanced-level role focused on the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday HRIS modules, specifically Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Absence. As a subject matter expert, this position collaborates with the HRIS team to enhance system functionality, support complex reporting and analytics, and drive Workday-related projects to align with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Configure and maintain Workday modules, including Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Absence, ensuring efficient business processes.
Develop and maintain advanced Workday reports, including calculated fields, dashboards, and matrix reports to support data-driven decisions.
Lead or support Workday projects, including module implementations, system optimizations, and data conversions for organizational initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues related to Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Absence modules.
Collaborate with the HRIS team to align system functionality with business requirements.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
Test new Workday features, releases, and configuration changes to maintain system integrity.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and minimal errors.
Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience configuring Workday HRIS, specifically in Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Absence modules, required.
Prior experience with Workday module implementations, preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without company sponsorship.
