We are seeking a
Human Resources Manager
with strong expertise in labor relations and a passion for building a positive, high-performance workplace. Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership:
Oversee all HR functions for a growing manufacturing plant. Labor Relations:
Serve as the go-to expert for contract interpretation, grievance resolution, and negotiations. Lead bargaining efforts with foresight, preparation, and a calm, tactical approach. Employee Relations & Culture:
Foster a workplace that is fair, transparent, and engaging. Coach leaders on communication, conflict resolution, and performance management. HR Operations & Compliance:
Develop and implement policies that are legally sound and aligned with company values. Ensure compliance with labor laws and collective bargaining agreements. Talent & Workforce Planning:
Manage the full recruiting lifecycle and partner with department leaders to anticipate and meet staffing needs. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred). 5–10 years of progressive HR experience; labor relations experience strongly preferred. Proven success in contract negotiations, union partnerships, and grievance management. Solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in both union and non-union environments. Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and pragmatic problem-solving. HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent) preferred. Hybrid work flexibility. Generous paid time off.
