Position Summary

As an HR Coordinator, you’ll be an integral member of our HR Business Partner team, helping to create a seamless and supportive employee experience. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion while partnering effectively across teams. You’ll be part of a fast paced, dynamic team working across a variety of functions, gaining hands-on exposure across immigration, employee relations, talent programs, and benefits. This role is an excellent opportunity to build a well-rounded HR career in a global asset management organization. Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle & Administrative Support

Prepare and process templates and letters for transfers, promotions, extensions, and conversions. Coordinate and maintain monthly business reports and provide ad hoc reporting as needed. Support employee relations matters in coordination with HRBPs and escalate complex situations as needed. Assist with Internship, Analyst and Associate programs, including logistics and event coordination.

Benefits & Leave Administration

Assist with the leave process, including sending initial documentation to employees, coordinating DocuSign, and tracking completion. Liaise with Benefits, Payroll, and external third parties to respond to information requests and ensure accurate tracking of updates. Support the accommodation request process and generate related documentation.

Immigration Support

Track and manage immigration cases across groups. Review applications, secure timely signatures, and assist with questionnaires and LCA postings. Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partner team on the PERM process, including job description verification and recruitment chart completion. Provide HRBPs with updates on upcoming actions and potential costs.

Onboarding & Offboarding

Shadow new hire orientation sessions and gradually assume presentation responsibilities. Update orientation materials quarterly and partner with HCM colleagues to ensure accuracy. Manage the I9 process, including collecting and uploading required information. Conduct and track new hire and exit interviews for more junior employees.

Other

Participate in ad hoc HCM projects. Gain exposure to key aspects of the HR Business Partner role, including talent management, compensation, engagement initiatives, data analysis, and the like. Build understanding of various parts of the alternative asset management business.

Requirements

Education & Certificates

Bachelor\'s degree required Professional Experience

Minimum 3 years\' work experience, financial services preferred Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; able to draft clear correspondence and interact effectively with employees and vendors Interpersonal Skills: Builds relationships easily and works effectively across all levels of the organization Judgment & Confidentiality: Exercises sound judgment; able to manage sensitive information with discretion Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities Proactivity & Problem-Solving: Demonstrates initiative in communication and follow-through; resourceful in addressing issues as they arise Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with HRIS a plus Teamwork: Collaborative, dependable, and willing to pitch in to support broader team needs The compensation range for this role is specific to New York, NY and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $85,000. In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs. Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
