Compensation Reporting, Analytics & Compliance Specialist
The Compensation Reporting, Analytics and Compliance Specialist will play a crucial role in analyzing, reporting, and interpreting compensation data to support strategic decision making and ensure compliance with internal and external compensation policies and regulations. This position reports to the Head of Compensation Delivery, North America. Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
Develop, maintain, and enhance compensation reports and dashboards to provide insights into compensation trends, equity, and effectiveness Analyze compensation data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, and provide actionable recommendations Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to management and other stakeholders Perform data audits to ensure accuracy and consistency in compensation records and reporting
Compliance & Audit
Lead the local Pay Equity and Pay Transparency projects, working with internal and external legal counsel and other stakeholders Ensure that compensation practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements Collaborate with local HR to define metrics and legal requirements Assist with internal and external audits related to compensation and benefits
Compensation Metrics & Benchmarking
Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices
System Management
Utilize compensation management systems and tools to extract, manipulate, and analyze data Collaborate with HRIS teams to ensure accurate and efficient data integration and system updates for Americas and Global Varian
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with HR, finance, and other departments to support compensation-related projects and initiatives Provide support and guidance on compensation related inquiries and issues
Project Management
Lead or participate in compensation projects such as short and long term incentives, compensation redesign, or new compensation program implementations Collaborate with global compensation teams to align regional practices with global strategies and initiatives
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation, with a focus on regional or international compensation practice
Skills
Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Power Apps, Qlik, Tableau Experience with a Global Pay Equity Tool such as Syndio or Trusaic is a plus Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to advise and influence stakeholders Ability to work with large data sets and perform detailed data analysis Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast paced environment Familiarity with compensation practices salary structures and market benchmarking
