Chicopee, MA (on-site) Senior Human Resources (HR) Generalist Summary

The Senior HR Generalist will perform HR functions to support the Chicopee facility. They will disseminate Corporate HR initiatives and programs, and carry out responsibilities in areas such as payroll, employment and staffing, onboarding, training and development, employee relations, affirmative action, employee engagement / recognition, compensation / incentive programs, and may support safety. They may assist Corporate HR with projects or other duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Edits, processes, and approves hourly employees’ timecards and time-off requests in the ADP WFN system; researches and resolves timecard and paycheck discrepancies. Assist Talent Acquisition in coordinating full cycle recruiting for the site (posting jobs, job fairs, campus partnerships, interview scheduling, interviewing candidates, background checks, pre-employment drug screens, offer letters) and onboarding new hires. Conduct new employee orientations to communicate policies, procedures, benefit plans, and enrollment. Partner with local staffing agencies to obtain the best rate for site staffing. Provide feedback to managers on performance management and employee relations issues to resolve problems constructively. Ensure company policies comply with federal, state, and local employment laws; maintain records and ensure non-discriminatory practices. Monitor day-to-day policy implementation regarding wages, hours, and working conditions with Corporate HR guidance. Create development strategies for key site roles; manage employee relations, including corrective actions, terminations, and investigations. Conduct listening strategies, provide data and recommendations to leadership based on insights. Oversee attendance policy enforcement and reporting; guide supervisors on disciplinary actions. Collaborate with leadership to foster culture through rewards, recognition, and development; advise on compensation trends and decisions. Prepare and complete audits as required; develop training resources with Sr. HRBP of People and Organizational Development. Implement and maintain employee engagement, recognition, and morale programs; oversee the site service award program. Maintain personnel files and training records; coordinate with Corporate HR on terminations with proper documentation and timing. Assist with benefits questions/issues and coordinate with Corporate Benefits on health care and leaves of absence for compliance and accurate records. Support annual open enrollment by distributing materials and communicating benefit plan changes. Maintain affirmative action program data for the site and collaborate on AAP reporting with Corporate HR. Process payroll forms for new hires, terminations, merit increases, promotions, leaves, and return‑to‑work status. Provide data to support monthly KPIs on absenteeism, turnover, and open positions. Oversee workers compensation administration, including claims management and return‑to‑work processes. Respond to employment verification requests and unemployment claims on behalf of the site. Identify opportunities to promote the site with local and state resources and associations. Senior Human Resources (HR) Generalist Qualifications

Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain strict confidentiality. Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years HR Generalist experience. Payroll experience using ADP WFN is preferred. HR Professional Certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP). Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Knowledge of HRIS systems; ADP WFN preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Spanish language ability is a plus. Benefits
