The Virtual Networking Team develops the highly customizable Virtual Cloud Networks (VCN) and connectivity services, ensuring predictable performance, isolation, and availability.

Job Description As a Senior Software Engineer on the Card Management team, you will design and develop tools and infrastructure to manage a growing fleet of embedded Linux systems. You will be responsible for delivering a secure and highly available SDN infrastructure. Our responsibilities include onboarding new network technologies, deployment tooling, patching, monitoring, automation, access controls, and metrics reporting. You will collaborate across OCI to support various applications and partner teams. Qualifications Expertise in embedded Linux and hardware troubleshooting Experience building technologies for distributed Linux systems Automation skills to improve operational efficiency Participation in on-call rotations to monitor fleet and services Development of runbooks, alarms, and tools to enhance operational capabilities Requirements BS or MS degree or equivalent experience in software engineering or related field 4+ years of relevant experience Benefits and Compensation US: Salary range from $79,800 to $178,100 per year, with potential bonus and equity.
