Overview
The right person will have in-depth knowledge and practical ability to run wire in new/existing construction - be able to troubleshoot existing burglar alarm system, install and program new systems, generate sales quotes and interact with customers effectively. Other pluses are: In depth knowledge of DSC security systems, including NEO and Power Series. Ability to work alone or as a team, being humble and ensuring one's work is sound. Being neat, clean and courteous. Responsibilities
Pull and terminate cables Rough-in and finish work Installation and maintenance of other electronic equipment Custom Installation of various hardware in finished and unfinished residential/ commercial (interior and exterior) Install, configure, and test various surveillance hardware, smart-home gadgets, cabling etc Maintain cleanliness and safety at all times Able to take direction and use cognitive thinking in order to complete complex installations solo or as a team Other related duties as assigned by Site Lead or Superintendent Must be good at solving and complex installation configurations on the fly Minimum Requirements
DSC Security Systems install and programming experience Must have clean driving record Prior construction experience - knowing your way around a construction site/ home etc Prior experience running and terminating RJ45, Coax and RJ-11 Ability to follow instruction Excellent communication skills; strong customer service skills Must be able to lift 50 pounds; must be able to bend, stoop, reach, climb.
