Senior Project Architect
for our

Lead design and technical teams through all phases of projects, from concept to construction on various sizes and levels of complexity Provide project team leadership and coordinate with consultants to engage clients, aligning vision and deliverables Participate in production and oversee documentation of projects during design development and construction documentation Oversee construction administration, ensuring design intent is maintained through execution Exercise thorough knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, local building codes, and construction techniques Work independently as well as part of an effective team, collaborating effectively to achieve design excellence Requirements
Professional Degree in Architecture (BArch / MArch) Registered Architect (LEED accreditation a plus) Minimum 10+ years' architectural and planning experience with strong technical, design, and leadership skills Demonstrated experience leading medium to large-scale projects Experience working in all phases of architectural projects, including Construction Administration Experience permitting projects through the NYC Department of Buildings and Health Department (experience covering the tri-state area is a plus) Strong knowledge of NYC Building & Planning Code Excellent Revit skills required Proficiency in SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite – or a variety of conceptual design, rendering, and presentation graphics software platforms Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal and problem-solving skills Salary
At the time of posting this job, the salary range for this position is between $105,000 – $135,000 for candidates with 10-20 years of industry experience, and $130,000 – $165,000 for candidates with 20+ years of industry experience. Our final compensation decisions include a candidate’s experience as well as qualifications, background and education.
