The Chair of the Psychology, Professional Counseling, and Neuroscience department Pay Range:
Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience The Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) program in the Department of Psychology, Professional Counseling, and Neuroscience of the College of Natural and Health Sciences is expanding. We are inviting applications for a full-time (9-month), tenure-track assistant professor position for our online program, scheduled to begin in August 2025. The position includes teaching (24 credits or 6 courses per year), research, and service responsibilities. Opportunities to teach additional courses in summer and winter semesters may be available for additional compensation depending on departmental needs. Successful candidates will have an earned doctorate or anticipated completion of doctorate by May 2026 in counseling or counselor education, experience teaching across the curriculum in CMHC, supervising clinical mental health counseling students, and demonstrated experience in online education. The position will involve clinical supervision and advisement to students in the CMHC program, contributing service to UW-Parkside, the College of Natural and Health Sciences, the Department, the profession, and/or the community, along with other duties as assigned.
