Overview
The Department of Public Administration and Policy, housed within the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, is seeking to hire a tenure-track assistant professor in public policy and/or applied microeconomics, starting Fall 2026. Responsibilities
Commitment to excellence in scholarly research and effective teaching for both graduate and undergraduate students. Teach a 2-2 load, likely consisting of masters-level microeconomics, statistics (masters or undergraduate), and a public policy elective. Be willing to teach courses in online formats when specific needs arise. Demonstrate ability to work with culturally diverse populations in their teaching and research. Qualifications
Completed doctoral degree from an accredited program by August 15, 2026. Specialization in a wide range of public policy areas, including but not limited to child and family policy, education policy, energy and/or environmental policy, health policy, international development policy, science and technology policy, artificial intelligence policy, social policy and inequality, and urban policy.
