Job Description:
Job Summary The Access Gateway Engineer supports the Client's mission by enhancing IT services through automation and secure access management. This role focuses on streamlining infrastructure and configuration processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC). The engineer collaborates with the eBusiness Security Access Gateway team to automate deployments, improve CI/CD pipelines, and reduce manual tasks, thereby accelerating time to market and strengthening system resilience. Key Responsibilities Design and develop automation for Access Management Services, including IBM Security Products. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support secure authentication, authorization, web gateway, and API services. Automate health checks and system monitoring to enable self-healing and auto-incident creation. Integrate automation with ServiceNow to streamline work intake requests. Enhance change management practices by capturing all changes in source control. Support automated rebuilds and rapid recovery from critical incidents. Reduce manual execution of scripts and improve deployment efficiency. Share knowledge and continuously seek process improvement opportunities. Required Qualifications
Proficiency in: Ansible Tower GitLab Python Shell scripting Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems RESTful APIs Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with modern authentication and authorization protocols: OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect (OIDC) SAML 2.0 SCIM LDAP Experience with: IBM Security products SQL ServiceNow Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Ansible Automation Hub and Ansible Galaxy
