The HR Manager is responsible for maintaining and executing day-to-day human resources operations across the organization. This individual will oversee core HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and HR recordkeeping. The HR Manager will play a key role in supporting our positive, high-performance culture and ensuring consistent application of company policies. This role collaborates closely with executive leadership and department heads to support Safe Life Defense’s growing team. Key Responsibilities

Maintain and oversee ongoing HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding. Coordinate job postings, applicant tracking, screening, and interview scheduling. Support employee relations including conflict resolution, investigations, and documentation. Administer company benefits programs and assist employees with enrollment and inquiries. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with applicable laws. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Manage timekeeping systems and collaborate with payroll processing. Assist with training coordination and compliance-based learning initiatives. Monitor adherence to company policies and HR procedures. Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities, recognition, and events. Participate in audits and workplace safety efforts in partnership with leadership. Qualifications & Requirements

3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus). Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Solid working knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and HRIS systems (BambooHR experience is a plus). Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Ability to maintain structure and consistency while adapting to a growing company. Bilingual is a plus. Disqualifications
