University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh . Provides administrative and clerical assistance to ensure the smooth operation of an office. Key Responsibilities

Greet visitors, provide information, relay messages, and refer to the appropriate faculty or office. Oversee and maintain departmental equipment, furniture, keys, and office supplies; order office supplies; coordinate equipment purchases; complete maintenance requests. Establish/maintain accurate inventory of capital/non-capital items; maintain inventory of printed marketing items; coordinate with University Mail Room and Printing Services to mail publications. Attend pertinent meetings, workshops and seminars relevant to the enhancement of job performance as time permits. Coordinate office administration tasks: ensure accuracy of hours and leave reports; assist with new staff searches; perform data entry; maintain records and files; manage office financial records and budgets; prepare brochures, flyers, program agendas, graphs/charts, and digital media as needed. Maintain contact and serve as liaison with other departments and the general public; take minutes at meetings and prepare reports; schedule and manage appointments. Lead and support event coordination: participate in event planning, room reservations, catering orders, invitations and registration, print materials, and related logistics; develop and implement office procedures and processes. Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of computer applications (Windows, Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Calendar, and related web tools); strong typing and 10-key skills; basic accounting knowledge. Excellent written and oral communication; ability to work with business style formats; strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously. Ability to exercise independent judgment, attention to detail, and accuracy; capacity to supervise student employees and delegate work; strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact respectfully with diverse populations. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds; commitment to following safety rules and training as required. Compensation & Conditions
