High school diploma required, associate’s degree preferred Experience working with adolescent aged children preferred Discrete with communication and maintains confidentiality Capable of following directives of professional staff Dependable, punctual, and positive work history Ability to utilize technology and Google applications Responsibilities & Duties
Monitor student behavior in the cafeteria and adjoining areas during lunch periods. Ensure students follow rules and cafeteria procedures. Promote a safe, orderly, and respectful environment. Reinforce positive behavior and encourage respectful interactions. Terms of Employment
Student days, 2.5 hours/day (10:30am – 1:00pm) Will be employed through EduStaff unless current Wayland Union employee or retired through MI Public Schools Office of Retirement Services. Subject to passing post offer background checks
