Technical Recruiter . Responsibilities
Partner with the Head of Talent Acquisition, Co-Founders, senior leadership, and hiring managers to understand business priorities and define hiring strategies for software engineering talent. Source, engage, and close engineers with expertise in building scalable, real-time distributed systems. Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify passive talent across competitive markets. Drive the full recruitment lifecycle within Ashby, while leveraging RecOps support for scheduling and administrative needs. Ensure an exceptional candidate experience that reflects Talos’s high standards. Use data and reporting in Ashby to track progress, optimize pipelines, and provide insights to leadership. Serve as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, advising on market dynamics, compensation, and talent trends. Qualifications & Attributes
Proven success as a Technical Recruiter with deep experience in software engineering hiring. Demonstrated ability to source and close highly technical candidates in competitive markets. Understanding of distributed systems, scalable infrastructure, and real-time engineering applied to trading. Comfortable engaging and influencing senior executives and technical leaders. ATS Proficiency: Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System is required; experience with Ashby ATS is a significant advantage. Baseline knowledge of capital markets hiring dynamics (HFT, Market Making, Quant Trading) is preferred but not essential. Attributes: Detail-oriented, adaptable, proactive, and professional. Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance culture. Benefits
