Overview As Payroll & Benefits Manager, you will process payroll for a growing hospitality company. This position requires vast ADP experience.
Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing using
ADP
(REQUIRED).
Oversee multi-state payroll (NY & CT).
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, including minimum wage and fair labor standards.
Review and approve quarterly and yearly payroll tax filings (W-2s, 401k reports, etc.).
Support audits and generate reports as needed.
Supervise and support the Payroll Coordinator.
Benefits
Administer employee benefit programs including health insurance, 401(k), life insurance, and disability plans.
Partner with brokers and third-party vendors on benefits plan negotiation and management.
Lead open enrollment processes and communications.
Manage leave of absence, workers' comp, and related claims.
Act as a point of contact for employee benefit inquiries.
Stay informed of compliance requirements and ensure all benefit plans are administered according to policy and regulation.
Compensation & Compliance
Conduct salary benchmarking and assist in compensation strategy.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and compensation regulations.
Profile
5+ years of experience managing payroll and benefits.
Strong experience with
ADP
(MUST).
Knowledge of multi-state payroll processing and tax compliance.
Experience working with third-party vendors and negotiating contracts.
Familiarity with retirement plans (e.g., 401k), open enrollment, and leave management.
Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Job Offer
Base salary ranging from $100,000 - $120,000 dependent on experience
