General Information This assignment is expected to continue for more than 40 days, and therefore we are seeking a certified candidate.
Long-Term Substitute Compensation: Certified: $225 per day

Responsibilities The Social Worker provides assessments and evaluations of students’ special educational needs. The Social Worker reports to the principal and/or the District Department Head for Social Work and Home Instruction.

Qualifications Note: Teachers dually certified in TESOL, Bilingual Education or ESL, with experience in Sheltered Instruction or fluency in a language other than English, will be given preference for all Stamford Public School positions.

Two (2) or more letters of reference, dated within the last two years.
Internal candidates must submit at least one letter from their current supervisor.
External candidates may submit a letter from either a current or recent supervisor.
