Professional Education Coordinator - Remote
The Professional Education Coordinator - Remote is responsible for supporting administrative functions and coordinating education events for the Hanger Professional Education and Training team. Working closely with world-class O&P and rehab leaders, Hanger Institute and Hanger staff, you will help coordinate national and regional education programs and events, including learning management system support, accreditation CE/CME submissions, and internal and external customer support.
Your Impact
Principal Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Schedule courses in the LMS for nationwide field team program for our patient care and products and services arm, distributing course packets and marketing materials, aligning with sales team counterparts in the field Support the day-to-day logistics of the learning management system (LMS), including uploading content and managing content library Coordinate education programs and events across the country, in collaboration with our field teams across the business Proactively communicate with professional education team to ensure alignment and to develop best practices and standards for events and program administrative process Build learning assessments, including surveys and quizzes Collaborate with professional education team partners to identify education program goals, objectives, and timelines for education programs. Provide learner field reports and contribute to overall professional education team KPI dashboards Long-Term Project Coordination Coordinate education-based projects and facilitate and update progress based on development process; ensure instructional integrity with quality assurance checks; maintain project timelines; coordinate efforts among the different roles of a project team; provide project status updates to key Professional Education stakeholders. Work with instructors or other subject matter experts to draft and edit learning content, including ppts, scripts, storyboards, video lessons, learning assessments, assignment instruction and rubrics, discussion prompts, etc. Carry out quality assurance reviews of course content and sites, identifying and fixing errors, ensuring content is accurate, accessible, and professionally produced in and outside of the LMS platform. Monitor online courses as they are piloted (e.g., reviewing learners' feedback in survey responses or discussion forums), as well as help identify and resolve problems that occur while the project is active.
