Job Summary
We are actively seeking a Robotics & Controls Engineer to join our innovative automation engineering team. This position is ideal for a technically skilled professional with a strong background in robotics integration, PLC programming, and machine control systems. You will play a key role in the design, development, programming, and support of advanced industrial automation systems used in manufacturing and production environments. Key Responsibilities
Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and others). Integrate and commission industrial robots (FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa) into automated systems. Develop user-friendly HMI and SCADA interfaces for system control and monitoring. Create and update electrical schematics using CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams during the system design and integration phases. Support onsite robotic cell startup, system debugging, and machine commissioning. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for automation-related issues. Ensure all systems meet safety standards (OSHA, NFPA 70E) and industry compliance requirements. Provide clear documentation for system logic, robotic operations, and safety systems for future maintenance and upgrades. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related technical field. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in robotics integration and industrial controls. Proficient in PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block). Strong experience with robotic systems and motion control technologies. Familiar with industrial communication protocols: Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, Profibus, Modbus. Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional project teams. Willingness to travel occasionally for installation and support tasks. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with vision systems such as Cognex or Keyence. Knowledge of safety PLCs and designing compliant safety circuits. Familiarity with Industry 4.0, IIoT, and industrial data integration. Professional certifications (e.g., Rockwell or Siemens) are a plus. Details
