Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic images on a predetermined substrate or medium. Prepare substrates for vinyl application, including cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc. Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images; techniques vary with size, vinyl type, and image complexity. Operate and maintain printers. Perform quality assurance measures before and after production by accurately reading and interpreting Work Orders and proofing for errors or standards. Perform finishing operations such as laminating and mounting printed pieces. Report inventory levels and reorder stock as needed to the center or production manager or franchisee. Clean and maintain storage areas. Ideal Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in sign production (preferred). High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to stand for long periods (4 hours or more). Ability to lift 50 or more pounds. Flexibility to lean over waist-high tables and use back-and-forth hand motions for applying vinyl. Ability to work under pressure to produce high-volume, high-quality work.
