Senior Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager
This role involves leading mechanical engineering projects from design to completion, with a focus on HVAC and plumbing systems. The candidate will manage project teams, maintain regulatory compliance, drive business development, and serve as the key liaison with clients and contractors. Key Responsibilities:
Technical & Design Oversight: Perform engineering calculations and create detailed mechanical designs. Use AutoCAD, Revit, and design analysis software for project execution. Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards. Maintain organized project documentation from start to close-out. Project Management: Lead moderately complex projects, assigning tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring quality control. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Conduct field reviews to ensure construction aligns with specifications. Develop and enforce QA/QC measures. Business Development: Support marketing, estimating, and securing new contracts. Develop pursuit strategies aligned with firm goals. Leverage client relationships and cross-sell services to grow business. Contribute to strategic planning and market expansion. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) + 6–10 years of experience, or Master’s + 5–9 years. Professional Engineer (PE) license
required. Project Management certification preferred. Proficiency in
AutoCAD and Revit . Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to lead teams and collaborate across disciplines.
