CHIEF MEDICAL PHYSICIST

Provides safe medical physics service and consultation, collaborates with Radiation Oncologist on research and development, and provides staff development and instruction to Radiation Oncology department. Provides leadership and supervision for medical physics and dosimetry. Will function as Radiation Safety Officer. Mandatory Requirements include PhD; BR, ABMP or CCPM in Radiation Oncolocy Physics; Registered in Iowa as Radiation Therapy Physicist; IDPH (Iowa) and IEMA (IL) license as Radiation Safety Officer of Radioaction Materials; minimum 5 years experience. SCREENING QUESTIONS Do you have a PhD in Medical Physics or equivalent field? Do you have at least 5 years experience in Medical Physics? IDEAL CANDIDATE Ideal candidate requirements include PhD, minimum 5 years experience; BR, ABMP or CCPM in Radiation Oncology Physics; Registry in Iowa as a Radiation Therapy Physicist; Radiation Safety Officer of radioactive materials license by IEMA and IDPH will also be required. Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide direction to Radiation Oncology staff. Additional Information
