As an Electrical Engineer, you will: Coordinate the electrical design team on large institutional/industrial projects from schematic design through contract documentation. Participate in meetings and reviews with governing agencies for code compliance. Manage workload to meet project schedules. Conduct site work sessions with the Project Manager and other disciplines. Review electrical documents for conflicts with other disciplines. Write and edit electrical specifications, select equipment, and design electrical systems. Coordinate with affected disciplines on addenda, RFIs, CPRs, change orders, and incorporate changes into documents. Provide construction contract administration as needed. Perform QA/QC on the work of other electrical team members. Perform other duties as required. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with an electrical focus. Experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting, power, systems). Professional Engineer (PE) license. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and electrical design software. Active participation in our employee-owned culture. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with an architectural/engineering or consulting firm. Interest or experience in sustainable design and LEED. Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical building design. Why HDR
