Electrical and Computer Engineering - Part-Time Lecturer Pool. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool. We are seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in the following subject areas: Electrical and Computer Engineering. This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on, as necessary. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available. APPOINTMENTS FROM THE PART-TIME POOL ARE TEMPORARY AND OFTEN MADE JUST PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ACADEMIC TERM. APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE. Responsibilities

Teach courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering to a diverse student population as needed by the department. Participate in course development and instructional activities as assigned. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to support student success. Required Qualifications

Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience in the appropriate field. Candidate should have prior teaching experience at the university level. Ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. Ability to work effectively with the diverse faculty, staff, and student body of the College of Engineering and Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Significant teaching experience with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment. Relevant performance and professional experience. How to Apply

The need for part-time faculty is greatest in Fall and Spring semesters. Fall term: late August to mid-December. Spring term: mid-January to end of May. On rare occasions, part-time faculty are needed during Summer. Appointment and Salary

Appointments are made as Lecturers under the CSU/California Faculty Association Collective Bargaining Agreement. Initial appointments are for one semester. Classification Range: $5,507 - $6,677 per month. Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications, not to exceed $6,221 per month. Full-time base salaries are prorated to units worked and paid in six monthly payments per semester. For a three-unit assignment, typical starting compensation ranges from $6,608.40 to $7,465.20 per semester. Benefits information is available at

Regular performance evaluations are conducted by the department in accordance with the faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement and University Policy Statement 210.070.
