Overview

REGENT aims to revolutionize regional transportation between coastal cities with the seaglider, a wing-in-ground-effect craft that travels just above the water’s surface, blending airplane speed with boat-like operating costs. Capable of 180 miles at 180 mph on today’s battery tech (up to 400 miles with next-gen batteries), seagliders will unlock fast, affordable, and sustainable coastal transit for passengers and cargo. Backed by leading investors and powered by a team of engineers, builders, and operators, we’re scaling from a breakthrough prototype to full production and building the team to make it happen. Role Overview

As a

Senior Electrical Integration Engineer , you’ll play a critical role in bringing REGENT’s vehicles from design to reality. You’ll own the hands-on assembly, integration, and verification of electrical and avionics systems on our Seagliders, ensuring every wire, harness, and signal path performs flawlessly in the lab and on the water. This is a build-focused, cross-functional role at the heart of our vehicle programs. You’ll bridge the gap between design and production—working closely with electrical engineers, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to transform drawings into fully integrated, flight-ready systems. From sourcing and inspection to test and troubleshooting, you’ll ensure our complex electrical architecture is installed safely, cleanly, and to spec. If you’re energized by real-world problem-solving, thrive in hands-on environments, and want to shape the build process for a brand-new category of vehicle, we’d love to have you on the team. Responsibilities

Lead Electrical System Builds:

Own the end-to-end integration of electrical and avionics subsystems—ensuring components are correctly sourced, inspected, installed, and verified on test benches and full vehicles. Bridge Design and Reality:

Collaborate with design engineers to resolve installation issues, improve integration practices, and feed back lessons learned to future revisions. Ensure Electrical Integrity:

Perform detailed inspections, continuity checks, grounding verification, and system bring-up to validate readiness at every stage of build. Support Rapid Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve electrical issues during integration and test, including signal noise, routing conflicts, or component failures. Work with Vendors and Partners:

Manage sourcing and quality of harnesses, electrical hardware, and subassemblies—guiding suppliers through specs, fabrication, and inspection criteria. Improve Build Processes:

Optimize installation practices, document procedures, and work side-by-side with technicians to ensure safe, repeatable, high-quality electrical builds. Drive Toward Certification:

Support the verification and documentation of flight-critical systems to meet our roadmap for production and regulatory certification. Contribute to Flight Test Readiness:

Participate in integration checkouts, safe-to-mate activities, and rapid turnarounds in test environments to keep our flight programs moving. Qualifications

Strong technical foundation and practical experience in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related fields A deep passion for building real-world, safety-critical systems— and seeing them come to life in the lab and on the vehicle Hands-on experience integrating electrical and/or avionics systems in complex platforms (aerospace, maritime, defense, or automotive) Expertise in interpreting electrical schematics, harness diagrams, and mechanical installation drawings Strong understanding of low-voltage DC power systems, grounding/shielding, and high-integrity cable routing Proven ability to work across disciplines including mechanical, propulsion, software, systems, etc. to drive integration forward Experience performing component inspections, managing incoming quality checks, and ensuring readiness for installation Proficiency with electrical test equipment (multimeters, bus readers, continuity testers) and troubleshooting techniques Confidence working alongside technicians on the shop floor—guiding installs, resolving real-time challenges, and adapting as needed High attention to detail, especially with flight or mission-critical systems in dynamic and harsh environments Bonus Experience

Prior experience as an integration engineer or build lead for flight or marine vehicles Exposure to high-voltage or high-power system integration Familiarity with sourcing and qualifying custom harnesses and subassemblies Experience writing build manuals, work instructions, or installation guides Hands-on support of flight or field testing environments, including rapid troubleshooting under time pressure Understanding of electrical system certification processes or industry standards (e.g., DO-160, MIL-STD) Who We’re Looking For

Collaborative Team Player:

You communicate effectively and collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to move projects forward and align on goals. Creative Problem Solver:

You tackle complex challenges, patch issues, and turn fixes into scalable improvements. Adaptable & Agile:

You adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment, keeping progress moving. Innovative Mindset:

You pursue continuous improvement and new technologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and team performance. What We Offer
