Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer

Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer experienced in industrial utilities and HVAC design to join our Energy, Manufacturing, and Bioprocessing Business Unit. This full-time, hybrid eligible, direct hire position, will be responsible for engineering, design, coordination, client communications and associated construction administration. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET accredited program required. 5-20 years relevant industry experience. Experience leading teams of engineers and designers on design projects. Ability to visit industrial sites and construction sites for the intent of performing inspections and observations that may be physically demanding. These inspections and observations may be made at heights, in confined spaces, and may require the use of a respirator to perform the inspections. Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record. Registered Professional Engineer (or ability to obtain your PE within the first year of employment in Virginia and/or Maryland). Client projects for this position require US Citizenship. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Significant experience with industrial utility and HVAC systems. Knowledge of Building Codes including Mechanical Code and Plumbing Code. Knowledge of ASHRAE, ACGIH and SMACNA Standards.
