As a Senior Engineer in Transportation Projects, you’ll contribute to the planning, procurement, construction, and operations of large-scale infrastructure initiatives. You’ll lead technical evaluations, manage budgets, and coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery. This role is ideal for engineers with a strong background in roadway design, traffic engineering, or NEPA planning, and who are ready to take on leadership responsibilities. Company:

Apply senior-level technical expertise to evaluate and implement engineering solutions Lead planning, scheduling, and budget oversight for complex transportation projects Assist with business development and proposal preparation Define scope of work and estimate project effort Review and ensure accuracy of deliverables within your discipline Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers Coordinate with clients, partners, and other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects Support cross-functional planning and scheduling efforts Perform additional responsibilities as assigned Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

with 8 years of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree in Engineering

with 7 years of relevant experience, OR PhD in Engineering

with 6 years of relevant experience Proven ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver quality work Strong problem-solving and project management skills Understanding of how multiple engineering disciplines contribute to project success Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of relevant experience North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience managing large transportation projects Knowledge of

NEPA planning ,

traffic engineering , or
