We are looking for a detail-oriented, quality-driven, and collaborative senior product quality engineer to join our team and drive product quality across the entire product lifecycle — from early concept through post-launch performance. In this high-impact role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is built into the design, validated through robust testing, and continuously improved based on marketplace feedback. You’ll help shape the voice of the customer in both front-end development and post-launch improvement initiatives, playing a key role in delivering durable, reliable, five-star products. Key Responsibilities
Front-End & New Product Development Quality
Support early-stage development teams to embed quality into design (DFMEA, DFM, CTQs, tolerance analysis)
Ensure robust design validation & verification (DV/VV) plans are developed and executed
Participate in design reviews and phase gates to assess quality and manufacturability
Drive early identification and mitigation of quality risks through structured risk assessments
Support product and hardware specification development in collaboration with engineering
Post-Launch Quality
Analyze field returns, customer complaints, and digital escalations to identify root causes
Lead product health reviews and drive corrective actions and long-term product improvements
Collaborate with Customer Excellence to monitor sentiment and emerging issues
Lead cross-functional tracker meetings to resolve top field issues and ECNs
Provide feedback loops to NPD teams based on post-launch learnings
Quality Systems & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Facilitate supplier investigations and corrective action processes (8D, CAPA)
Present risk and quality updates to senior management throughout the product lifecycle
Act as a product quality expert across functions — Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Support
Ensure process efficiency and consistency across both development and sustaining quality
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
in Mechanical Engineering, Quality, Product Development, or related field
5+ years
of experience in quality, design, or product engineering (consumer goods preferred)
Deep understanding of
design for quality, risk analysis, validation, and post-launch quality management
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills (FMEA, 5 Whys, SPC, etc.)
Proven ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced, high-impact environments
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SharePoint experience a plus
Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Highly organized, resourceful, and detail-focused
Willingness to travel as required
